Manchester in its Vibrant Colors To mark a beginning to the topic let us first trace the origin of the name of Manchester City. The name ‘Manchester’ got its nomenclature from the Roman name ‘Mamucium’. Mamucium was actually the name of the Roman settlements and forts. Manchester, which is now considered as the city of capitalism, did not have the same image during or immediately after the ‘Industrial Revolution’. In fact, one can find pictures of riots that were mostly related to bread and labor or political rebellion from the working classes of the city and the non-titled people of Manchester. It took an important and significant place in history with its left-wing politics and Marxism. Manchester city centre hotels are the most enchanting events in Manchester city. But now one can hardly find any of the effects of riot within the economy of the city as Manchester has exhibited an astonishing growth from year 2007 to till date. If we look at the city records then year 2007 and 2008 has crowned the city as the second-best place for business in the whole United Kingdom. The city’s architectures show evidences of its rapid growth. Among its wide variety of structural constructions Manchester Hotels has displayed the Victorian and Contemporary style. Sometimes the big glass atrium or at times its traditional style presenting Jacuzzis and four-posters beds steals the attraction of the visitors. Apart from these the city didn’t forget to hold the fingers of the little ones. In fact it has offered a wide variety of children’s park, museums, horse riding arena, steam railways, parks, pubs with children playgrounds, theme parks, bouncy castles, art and craft galleries and so on. Among them • Corgi heritage Centre • Greater Manchester Police Museum • Stockport hat Works • Brookside Miniature railway • East Lancashire Light Railway • Heaton park • Old Hall Riding School • Manchester Equestrian Centre • Chamber House Urban Firm • Brewster Fun Pubs • Wacky Warehouse • Bolton Girls and Lads Club are just a few noteworthy names. Thus to bowl over visitors and spectators Manchester City is well geared up, waiting with its doors open.
